Social Activities

There's more to the club than just rides. Club members also schedule social activities, including an annual spring banquet in May, an annual holiday potluck in December, and occasional dining clubs.

NVP's Dining Club is a great way to meet fellow riders for a non-cycling social event. Simply pick a restaurant of your choice and a date, and post it on the club calendar as a social event. Ask people who are coming to RSVP to you 3-5 days beforehand so that you can make a reservation. Make sure to include your email address or telephone number in the event listing, and be sure to let folks know that non-cycling family and friends are more than welcome. You can have an email sent to members advertising the night out by contacting NVP's Party Planner, at social@nvpbike.org. If you're more into having fun than making the arrangements, let Kathryn know what you'd like to do and she will set the entire night up for you. Dining Clubs have historically been held on Friday evenings, but the decision is up to you. Contact social@nvpbike.org with any questions.

NVP Apple Country Century

Every fall the club hosts a fully supported century through our area with 25, 50, 75, and of course 100 mile routes. Details can be found at www.applecountrycentury.org.
